For the curious, this is the [Toyota FT-86 II concept](http://www.ultimatecarpage.com/car/4715/Toyota-FT-86-II-Concept.html) from 2011, as displayed at the Melbourne International Motorshow of that year.

The technique is to get a solid tripod, a wide-angle lens and a hopefully smooth turntable which the car is on. ASK FOR PERMISSION, then if granted, carefully position the tripod so it won’t fall off on the rotating platform. I always use polarizing filter at minimum to increase exposure, and ND filters would work extremely well also but I didn’t have any at the time. Once done, thank the stand manager for the hospitality and keep fingers crossed nothing mechanical bumped to create vibrations.

It might take several attempts to find the best background or unwilling stand managers, or even platforms that are too small to best capture everything, but once you get it right the results are awesome.
